Day Five - Red Creek Red Rattlebox
The red bud trees may dominate early spring, but the red rattlebox captures my attention from June to July. On this particular canoe trip we turned the creek bend, and WOW - it was like seeing Moses' Burning Bush. The green shrub was on fire with reddish orange flowers.
