Red Creek Day 27 - Wild Muscadines

There's a creek bank between Hwy. 49 and City Bridge that is bountiful with plants, wildflowers, and sometimes fruit. The wild muscadine or scupanon is one of my favorites. The colors of this wild grape range from green to bronze to a deep violet. They are also not a bad snack on a hot summer day.
