Red Creek Day 10 - Honeysuckle

The yellow honeysuckle (Lonicera japonica or Japanese Honeysuckle) grows everywhere - on fence rows, roadsides, and the creek. When in full bloom, the sweet smell will get your attention before the yellow and white juxtaposing colors do. I have had fun painting the flowers and using the vines in baskets. This is another simple and hardy perennial that I love.
